Process:
Got to know the product (physical product)
Talked daily with the users/engineers, to understand needs and pain points
Started with a map of the experience
I created wires and reviewed and tested them
Iterated on experience from user feedback
I designed the final UI/UX

Defined Tasks
Identifying items
The store is filled with cameras detecting the shoppers and what they pick up.
The cameras identify the sku and add it to their checkout items in their app.
Cameras make mistakes and this tool allows the engineers to look at the video captured and use the store inventory to identify the correct item.
The engineer can type in commands to get quick results from the command bar.
Tracking movement
The store is filled with cameras detecting all the customers’ movements.
The engineers can also use the map of the store to identify where the customer is in the store.
This lets them know where and what products are stocked in that location of the store.
The engineer can type in commands from the command bar as well as use the map icon.
Camera issues
The store is filled with cameras and motion sensors throughout the store.
Sometimes cameras may malfunction, causing them not to accurately identify an item the customer might have picked up.
The engineers can see quickly the location of the camera with issues and communicate with the in-store personal to problem-solve and fix the camera.
Habits
Cameras malfunction, causing them not to identify an item the customer might have picked up.
The app stores data on the customer and their shopping habits. For example, Chris always buys low-fat organic milk from Wagner Farms.
The engineer can access this information and identify the item using the customer's shopping history.
